Gun Trust Plans

We did our homework and decided to offer true gun trust plans. Our gun trusts are unique because they can be built to suit your needs. A Gun Trust trust is purposely designed for owning, enjoying, and eventually distributing your firearms, ammunition, and accessories.

And, our Gun Trusts are provided by Florida trusts and estate planning attorneys who are available to help you when you need it. We don’t just dabble in gun trusts – we’re staunch Second Amendment supporters so firearms are a core part of our estate planning, elder law, and asset protection services.

Our Gun Trust Plans

We offer two gun trust planning options – each with distinct features and pricing. These are NOT generic, boilerplate, so-called gun trusts; these are special-purpose revocable living trusts drafted by a Florida estate planning and gun law attorney, and are an important part of your overall estate plan:

Silver Edition Plan

  • Holds both NFA/Title II and non-NFA weapons and ammunition.
  • Allows you to designate co-trustees, successor trustees, and death beneficiaries.
  • Provides flexibility to easily comply with the new ATF rules pertaining to Responsible Persons.
  • Allows people you shoot with to legally use your NFA/Title II firearms even when they’re not in your physical presence.
  • Provides a standalone estate plan exclusively for your NFA and non-NFA firearms (your firearms bypass your Will or Revocable Living Trust and avoid probate).
  • Allows sharing while avoiding the “accidental felony.”
  • Gun Trust Portfolio and all forms needed for keeping your Trustees and Beneficiaries up-to-date and legal.
  • $795

Gold Edition Plan

  • Fully customizable version for clients with larger collections or unique concerns such as multi-generational planning or multi-state possession.
  • Allows the use of a Trust Protector – an independent person who has the power to make certain limited changes to the trust and interpret your wishes when you aren’t around.
  • Holds both NFA/Title II and non-NFA weapons and ammunition.

Estate Planning Discounts

Because your Gun Trust is an important part of your overall estate plan, we provide a discount when you do a complete family Trust-based or Will-based estate plan (such plans may include Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and Deeds).

You wonder whether your granddaughter will think of you fondly when you’re not around anymore.

You want to make sure someone will love and care for your dog, horse, or parrot when you can’t.

Your spouse doesn’t share your love for guns, and you fear your collection could be sold for almost nothing – or even destroyed – instead of being passed on to your children or others who share your passion.
