Helping You Protect What Really Matters...Your Family!

Gun Trust Plans

We did our homework and decided to offer Gun Docx gun trust plans. Gun Docx gun trusts are unique because they can be built to suit your needs and your budget. A Gun Docx firearm trust is purposely designed for owning, enjoying, and eventually distributing your firearms, ammunition, and accessories.

And, our Gun Docx Gun Trusts are provided by Florida trusts and estate planning attorneys who are available to help you when you need it. We don’t just dabble in gun trusts – we’re staunch Second Amendment supporters so firearms are a core part of our estate planning, elder law, and asset protection services.

We offer three editions of gun trust planning options – each with distinct features and pricing:

  • A special-purpose revocable living trust designed specifically for purchasing and possessing NFA/Title II weapons.
  • One individual trustee.
  • Allows you to designate successor trustees and death beneficiaries (bypasses your Will and avoids probate).
  • Can be upgraded later (see below).
  • $300

Silver Edition Plan

  • Holds both NFA/Title II and non-NFA weapons and ammunition.
  • Allows you to designate co-trustees, successor trustees, and death beneficiaries.
  • Provides flexibility to easily comply with the new ATF rules pertaining to Responsible Persons.
  • Allows people you shoot with to legally use your NFA/Title II firearms even when they’re not in your physical presence.
  • Provides a standalone estate plan exclusively for your NFA and non-NFA firearms (your firearms bypass your Will or Revocable Living Trust and avoid probate).
  • Allows sharing while avoiding the “accidental felony.”
  • Gun Trust Portfolio and all forms needed for keeping your Trustees and Beneficiaries up-to-date and legal.
  • $800

Gold Edition Plan

  • Fully customizable version for clients with larger collections or unique concerns such as multi-generational planning or multi-state possession.

Lifetime Upgrades

Gun Trust Upgrades

We understand that your needs may change over time, so we offer our clients the option to upgrade their gun trust plans at any time. The price you paid will be applied dollar-for-dollar to the cost of your new Gun Trust plan. For example, if you paid $300 for a Bronze Edition Plan and later decided to upgrade to a Silver Edition Plan that was regularly priced at that time at $800, you would pay only $500.

Under current law, no additional NFA transfer tax would be incurred when you upgrade because there would be no legal change in ownership. The trust’s legal structure would remain the same – you would just be adding additional instructions.

Estate Planning Packages

Because your Gun Trust is an important part of your overall estate plan, we offer complete family Trust-based or Will-based estate plans that include a Gun Trust along with your Wills, Revocable Living Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and HIPAA Authorizations.
